    Answer:

    Some of the disadvantages associated with the conventional white cement/lime coating are,
    Needs the water curing for white cement coating
    Poor adhesion to the plastered surface
    Poor chalking resistance
    Poor waterproofing properties
    Poor flexibility
    Less coverage & Low Productivity because of low spreadability.

    To eliminate the above disadvantages associated with the white cement/lime coating the ApcoBuild® CemBind is needed.

    The Modification of White Cement/lime coating with ApcoBuild® CemBind provides the following advantages.
    Eliminates the need of water curing of the white cement coating
    Improves the adhesion of white cement/lime coat
    Improves chalking resistance of white cement/lime coat
    Improves flexibility of white cement/lime coat
    Imparts excellent waterproofing properties to the white cement/lime coat

    Answer:

    ApcoBuild® Anti-Hack is a specialty-engineered polymer designed to eliminate the need of hacking on concrete surfaces before plastering. Normally the hacking is done before plastering the concrete surface to improve the bonding between the concrete and new plaster. Hacking causes weakening of the structure and also induces hairline cracks through which the ingress of water and chloride ion takes place. Hence there is huge need for the product, which can eliminate hacking and provide good bonding between the old concrete and plaster.

  • We need a good bonding agent for Gypsum wall plastering which provides for good open time

    Answer:

    ApcoBuild® Anti-Hack can also be used as a bonding agent for the Gypsum plaster. There are various products available in the market to be used as bonding agent for the old concrete and plaster. Some are liquid where as some are powders. The liquid products that are available in the market are having the less open time for plastering i.e 10 –20 minutes and bond strength in between 0.6 –0.7 N/mm2. The powder products give you almost no open time and the rebound losses are also very high.

  • How do we get effective & economical bonding solutions

    Answer:

    ApcoBuild Anti Hack is not reqd to be mixed with cement for Bond coat application & has to be used as neat application on dry well prepared surface.
    Do not apply if there is a dampness, water seepage or direct contact with water.
    Do not apply chat/dash-coat if the sufficient tackiness is not developed and apply the second coat of ApcoBuild® Anti-Hack if required.
    Always apply the chat/dash-coat and do not carry out the complete plastering before the chat/dash-coat is set.
